Where Exactly are you Located?

The Cowtown Cycle Party World Headquarters are located at 129 W Leuda in the Near Southside of Fort Worth, one block west of South Main Street. The cross street is Galveston Avenue and that’s where you’ll see the big bikes on the street! We share our building with another cool cycling company – Pedego Electric Bikes Fort Worth. We are across the street from the Rahr & Sons Brewery. Free street parking is available. However, please note that parking is at a premium during Rahr tastings and other events so car pooling, Uber or Lyft is recommended.

Do You Provide a Driver?

Indeed we do! Our insurance provider requires it. Our drivers are licensed by the City of Fort Worth. They basically work for tips so if you get good service, a nice tip is certainly appreciated!

Does the Cycle Party Supply Food or Beverages?

No, but riders can bring their own snacks and permissible drinks. No hard liquor is allowed and no glass containers. Bring your own cooler with beer in cans, wine in a box or plastic bottles. It’s BYOB/serve yourself – we do not sell or serve alcoholic drinks. You must be on the bike to consume alcohol – no stepping off with a drink. We insist that all riders who drink alcohol on the bike do so responsibly!

What Restrictions Are There?

All riders must be 18 or older. In order to have beer and wine on the Cycle Party, all riders must be 21 years-of-age and must provide valid identification. If there are any underage riders onboard, no alcohol can be consumed on the big bike. Do not drink before your tour. If you show up drunk, you will not be allowed to ride. We care about your safety!

Due to the construction of the bike, anyone weighing 250 pounds or more should not sit on a pedaling seat. There are non-pedaling seats over the rear wheels and there’s also the back bench.

We have three adjustable seats for people under 5’3″. Please let your driver adjust the seat for you.

What Should We Wear/Bring?

Layered clothing is good and make sure you wear shoes that will stay on (flip flops don’t). Also, be sure to bring water to stay hydrated.

How Fast Can This Thing Go?

It generally goes about 5-8 mph. Naturally, the more people pedaling, the faster (and easier) it gets.

What Times Can I Reserve?

The Cycle Party runs from 10am to 10pm Monday-Saturday and Noon to 9:30pm on Sundays. Standard tour start times Monday-Saturday are 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm. Sunday start times are Noon, 2:30pm, 5:00pm & 7:30pm. All tours can be booked at least 48 hours in advance or call for availability.

How Much Does it Cost? When Do I Pay? How Do I Pay?

Reserving the entire bike for a private Cycle Party costs a flat rate of $399 for a two-hour tour. If you have a group of 16, that’s under $25 a person. You don’t necessarily need 16 people. With our pedal-assist motors, you’ll do fine with 8 pedalers. Of course, with a Cycle Party, the more, the merrier! The renter pays the full price when the tour is booked. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover.

What if it’s Hot, Cold, Rainy or Windy the Day of the Tour?

The Cycle Party operates rain or shine. If dangerous weather does occur, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and offer you a rain check. We also offer a rain check if the tour has to be cancelled within the first hour due to severe weather.

What if I Need to Cancel?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 31 days out – you can reschedule, or get a full refund.
  • 14 – 30 days out – you can reschedule only, no refunds apply.
  • Less than 14 days out – sorry, no refund or rain check unless there is an issue with the crazy Texas weather.

What’s Up with the Liability Waiver?

Riding the Cycle Party can be dangerous, just like riding any bike. Please review the Liability Waiver. You can sign the waiver on our ipad when you arrive for your tour.
