What is The Cowtown Cycle Party?

The Cowtown Cycle Party is Fort Worth, Texas’s famous 16-person pedal-powered BYOB party on wheels. We are a local family-owned business and have been in operation since 2012. We love what we do! We offer 2-hour Public and Private Cycle Parties, with many customizations available. We can visit local bars, murals, historic landmarks, coffee shops, restaurants, and more. Non-drinking tours are available and we make them FUN!

We are perfect for birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team building events, sightseeing, retirement parties, girls’ night out – the possibilities are endless! A minimum of 6 pedaling people is required to power The Cowtown Cycle Party. We have 10 seats with working pedals in total, and room for 6 non-pedaling guests to enjoy the ride. Don’t have 6 people? Reserve individual seats and make new friends on a Public Cycle Party!

We currently have 4 Cowtown Cycle Party Bikes! You can book multiple Party Bikes and bring even more guests. With all 4 Cowtown Cycle Party Bikes, we can hold 64 guests. Please note, 20% Captain Gratuity is added for Multiple-Bike Party reservations.

Where do we start and end? Is there parking?

The Cowtown Cycle Party begins and ends every party at our World Headquarters: 809 Galveston Avenue in the Near Southside of Fort Worth, TX. We are one block west of South Main Street.

Free street parking is available. Parking can be limited, so carpooling or ridesharing is recommended. Stay alive– NEVER drink and drive!

We can visit bars, murals, historic landmarks, coffee shops, restaurants, and more in the South Main district, The Near Southside, and Downtown/Sundance Square areas. Click here for a list of some of our current favorite places to go during your Cowtown Cycle Party!

Do you provide a Captain? Can my guests or I drive the Party Bike?

Yes, we do provide a licensed Captain! Our experienced Captains, AKA “Beerless Leaders”, are specially trained Party Bike operators and THE BEST Party Hosts in the industry. If you have a great time with your Captain, tipping is always appreciated. You can also leave us 5-Star reviews and mention your Captain by name to show your gratitude. Be sure to request your favorite Captain for your next Cowtown Cycle Party!

No, you and your guests cannot drive our Party Bike. Your job is to pedal and have fun!

Do you sell or provide beverages, ice, or snacks?

No, we don’t sell or provide any beverages, ice, or snacks. We do allow you to BYOB! (Bring Your Own Beverages!) You are allowed to bring canned or boxed beer/wine products only if ALL participants are 21 or older. No hard liquor or glass containers are allowed. Remember to bring plenty of water, especially in warm weather conditions. Always drink responsibly!

What’s the age requirement?

For Private Cycle Parties, ALL participants must be 18 or older. ALL participants must be 21 or older if you choose to BYOB beer/wine products. Valid identification must be provided upon arrival. If there are any riders under 21, you are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages on board.

For Public Cycle Parties, ALL participants must be 21 or older. Valid identification must be provided upon arrival. No refunds or credits will be given if valid identification cannot be provided.

What should we wear? What should we bring?

Dress according to the weather. Wear comfortable athletic clothes, and closed-toe shoes that will securely stay on your feet. No high heels, flip flops, or loose/unsecured footwear.

Small purses/bags are permitted and can be stored in our overhead storage area if desired. Your Captain will help secure all items before departure. Layered clothing recommended! If you need to take off a layer like a light jacket, it can also be stored in our overhead storage area.

Bring your favorite BYOBs on ice in a lightweight cooler. We don’t provide drinks or ice. Always drink responsibly and remember to also bring enough water for everyone, especially in warm weather conditions.

Cooler restrictions: You are allowed to bring (2) coolers max per Cowtown Cycle Party Bike. Each cooler must be 15″ x 25″ x 15″ or smaller, and weigh 50 lbs. or less when fully loaded with your ice and BYOBs. If you bring too many coolers, or if your cooler is too big, your Captain will ask you to switch your contents to our loaner cooler.

Please leave valuable jewelry and electronics at home. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Do we really have to pedal?

Yes, the Cowtown Cycle Party is a pedal-powered vehicle and pedaling is required on 10 seats. As long as everyone follows our Captain’s orders, and tries their best, we will have a fantastic experience. We have room for 6 non-pedaling people, too. With a full bike of 16 people, you and your guests can take turns pedaling and resting.

TIP: Big, heavy coolers make pedaling more difficult! We do not recommend bringing heavy, hard-sided YETIs or other large fishing/hunting style coolers. Your cooler should be 50 lbs. max when fully loaded with ice and your BYOBs. If your Captain says your cooler is too big or too heavy, you will be provided with a smaller alternative cooler to use.
